Chal is a handwoven framed wool tapestry built around a chunky diagonal weave of thick natural wool, soft and tactile, like the shawl its name comes from. The heavy yarn breaks the clean lines of the frame with a warm, three-dimensional rhythm that invites a closer look and, quietly, a touch.

Part of the Aera Collection, each Chal is shaped slowly by hand at our Chrzanów studio, the relief carefully fixed by hand to hold its form, then set into a solid wooden frame for a gallery-quality finish. Woven in wool, it quietly dampens sound and warms the space around it.
