Explore our Rod Hanging Tapestries — a versatile collection of handcrafted wall hanging decor, designed to bring warmth and texture to any interior. Each tapestry is handwoven from natural wool and carefully mounted on bamboo rods or metal poles, creating a unique piece of textile wall art. From minimalist woven wall hangings to bold geometric patterns, this collection suits a wide range of styles — Japandi, Scandinavian, Boho, and modern interiors. Perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, offices, or as a thoughtful housewarming gift. Looking for a custom size or color? We create bespoke tapestries tailored to your space. All pieces are handcrafted in Poland with free worldwide shipping.
Woven Wall Hangings on Bamboo and Wood
A rod-hung tapestry behaves differently from framed work. The textile is suspended from a bamboo or wooden rod and falls under its own weight, so it keeps the softness and movement of the fibre rather than being held flat. Hang it and give it a few days — the piece settles into its intended shape on its own.
Every woven wall hanging here is made by hand on a floor loom in our studio in southern Poland, from natural wool and cotton. If you have been looking at macrame wall hangings, this is the woven equivalent: the same organic, bohemian feeling, but with real density, relief and weight behind it.
Rod-hung pieces suit tall walls and anyone who moves often — they roll for transport and rehang in minutes. For gallery-flat presentation see the framed tapestries, for the biggest formats the large woven wall hangings, and for the most textural pieces the boho wall hangings.
Good to know
How do you hang a rod tapestry?
Two screws or hooks, positioned slightly beyond the outer edges of the textile. The rod rests on the supports and the weight of the weave does the rest. Detail in our installation guide.
Woven or macrame — what differs?
Macrame is knotted; weaving is interlaced on a loom. Woven pieces carry more surface, more colour and far more textural depth, and hold their shape over years instead of stretching.
Can it be rolled for shipping?
Yes — rolled face outward around a wide tube, never folded. That is how they leave our workshop, and how we recommend storing or moving them.
