Lutum is a handwoven wool wall sculpture that gathers layers of earth into fiber, its organic relief evoking wind traces on sand and the natural folds of ancient rock. Worked in muted brown wool, it shifts gently with the light, subtle and full of depth.
Part of the Aera Collection, each Lutum begins as a fully handwoven piece on a traditional loom at our Chrzanów studio, then is sculpted by hand and finished with raw fringes along its lower edge. It hangs from a rod, frameless and light. As natural wool, it softens the acoustics of the room as much as its look.
A grounding, noble presence for a Japandi living room or a wabi-sabi corner. Sculptural fiber art that brings natural balance to a wall.
